Pouch Film Laminations

We custom-engineer and manufacture flexible packaging laminations for pouches based on your products’ unique formulations, project life cycles, distribution methods, and filling equipment.

“Pouches” is a broad term. Here, we’re referring to pouches created by running flexible packaging laminations on horizontal form/fill/seal (HFFS) or vertical form/fill/seal (VFFS) equipment. If you’re looking for information on stand up pouches or premade pouches, detailed information on those can be found here.

Pouches can go by many different names (four-side seal pouches, packets, packettes, sachets, samples, etc.).

Our film laminations are trusted by some of the biggest CPG’s in world, as well as smaller brands. We custom-engineer and manufacture flexible packaging laminations for pouches based on your products’ unique formulations, project life cycles, distribution methods, and filling equipment.

    Custom-Engineered Flexible Packaging

We can engineer many different specific properties into your flexible packaging materials. Examples of this are:

    • Oxygen, moisture, or light resistance (see high-barrier flexible packaging)
    • Chemical resistance
    • Puncture or tear resistance
    • Easy tear propagation
    • Low coefficient of friction (ideal for certain types of filling equipment)
    • Heat sealability

We’ll work one-on-one with you to understand the active ingredients in your product that could require unique flexible packaging materials. We regularly perform product/package compatibility testing to provide an accelerated simulation of how your products will interact with various types of flexible packaging materials.

Our film laminations are preferred by many contract packaging companies because they have experience working with many different flexible packaging companies, and they appreciate that our flexible packaging laminations are consistently high in quality. (Often, copackers and other companies have sought us out after experiencing the issues that can arise when working with subpar film laminations.)

An added benefit is the lower scrap rates and faster line speeds that are achieved when running our flexible packaging material on filling equipment, which can ultimately contribute to your bottom line.

Our consistent pouch film laminations, exceptional service, and dependable lead times have led to very high customer retention and satisfaction.

Since 1965, Glenroy’s flexible packaging film laminations have run on many different types of equipment, and we’ll gladly work with you to ensure that your material runs well on your filling equipment of choice.
