Glenroy Inc. Named One of “America’s Healthiest Companies” by Wellness Council of America

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., August 27, 2015 — Glenroy® Inc., a converter and printer of flexible packaging film and stand-up pouches, was recognized as one of “America’s Healthiest Companies” by earning a Gold Well Workplace Award from Wellness Council of America and local affiliate Wellness Council of Wisconsin. This award recognizes best-in-class organizations for developing comprehensive workplace wellness programs that produce results.

For over 25 years, Wellness Council of America has dedicated its efforts to studying and promoting the efforts of America’s Healthiest Companies. The cornerstone of the Wellness Council of America is the Well Workplace Awards process. This initiative recognizes quality and excellence in the promotion of worksite health.

To earn a Gold-level Well Workplace Award, an organization needs to successfully build comprehensive worksite wellness initiatives and demonstrate concrete outcomes based on the criteria of the award. This criteria includes capturing executive-level support, creating a cohesive wellness team, collecting data to drive health efforts, crafting an operating plan, choosing appropriate interventions, creating a supportive environment and consistently evaluating outcomes.
