Glenroy, Inc. Launches First Flexible Packaging Smartphone App

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis., December 7, 2010 — Glenroy® Inc., a converter and printer of flexible packaging film, is proud to announce the launch of the first ever flexible packaging smartphone application.

The app—available as a free download in the Android market—allows users to quickly calculate commonly used flexible packaging specifications such as roll weight, roll footage, roll diameter, basis weight and yield. Also available are several conversion tools including MSI (thousand square inches) to Linear Feet, MI (thousand impressions) to linear feet, MI to MSI, pounds to linear feet, meters to linear feet, and linear feet to impressions. Users can quickly switch between imperial and metric units, and a “share” feature allows users to email calculations and conversions directly from their Android devices.
